MEDUSA4 – Groups and Sheet Structure
Groups and Sheet Structure

MEDUSA4 Groups are a powerful feature used to structure geometry, so that it can be edited as a single entity, without affecting your ability to manipulate individual elements. They simplify the design process, adding clarity and transparency. With the aid of the Structure Tree browsing tool, designers can create, name, edit and reorganise groups, using its drag and drop functionality to associate elements with particular groups. They can also create “Super Groups” which in themselves contain multiple groups.

Styles can thus quickly be applied to all elements in a particular group using the Dashboard, and whole groups of geometry can be saved for re-use in other designs, or general use in a symbol library.
