STHENO/PRO Design Objects
The Design Objects functionality, an integral part of the STHENO/PRO package, is a powerful tool which combines 2D ease of use with 3D design capabilities for modelling assemblies, by turning 2D geometry into intelligent objects.
Design Objects allow designers to achieve a top-down and bottom-up assembly-based design process. They speed up the work of project teams by automating routine operations and supporting concurrent design. Design Objects significantly extend the concept of drawing-based design, allowing engineers to work with familiar objects, such as components, views and assemblies.

| Drag and drop assemblies and planes in the Structure Tree

| Build assemblies from simple geometry – no need to build components

| Edit a component inside the assembly and regenerate the assembly. Boundary lines are automatically recreated.

| The Structure Tree now shows assemblies, components, instances and definitions

| There is an enhanced boundary line creation mechanism

| In a top-down design scenario, instance a component and turn it into a new definition
